This is What Social Media Sites Would Look Like in a High School Yearbook [infographic]

Topics:

We all remember what high school was like. Some of us loved it and were named the king or queen of prom. Others of us would soon rather forget the whole thing ever happened. Whichever category you fall into, you’re sure to appreciate this fun infographic, “Social Stereotypes: You Are What You Share.”

If the top social media sites all went back to high school together, this is how they would rank. With 1.01 billion users, Facebook would be the quarterback due to its obvious popularity. Some things about the quarterback that we shouldn’t envy include the fact that 52 percent of students reported being cyberbullied in its halls. Plus, liking “drugs” was up a whopping 1,131.9 percent in 2011.

YouTube was dubbed the theater guy who only makes $2.50 to $5 on every 1,000 views per video. Twitter is chatty Cathy, with 71 percent of everything she says being ignored. Pinterest is the cheerleader and has an 80 percent female profile rate to prove it.

Check out the infographic below to see other social media sites that made the yearbook cut.
