It seems like 2007 was just yesterday. To be exact, it was six years ago and within that time, the number of Internet users has grown from 1.15 billion to 2.27 billion. Data generation has also evolved. Ten years ago it took countless time to generate 5 billion gigabytes of data worldwide. Today, it takes two days and by next year, it will only take 10 minutes.
It wasn’t so long ago that you had to send individual links through email or an instant-messaging platform if you wanted to share videos. Today, all someone has to do is hit a social button or embed a code to instantly share videos.
