On Monday we released our 2009 College Graduate Salary Report. This is a successor to our salary report last year. In this report, we calculate the typical earnings of starting and mid-career bachelor’s degree graduates of US colleges and universities.
Catherine Rampell wrote a good story for the The New York Times Economix blog about the report, which sparked a lot of comments.
Since we haven’t changed much in our methodology, I addressed many similar comments last year with posts on the fundamentals of how we calculated the salaries, and why not including graduates who get advanced degrees is the correct choice for comparing undergraduate institutions.
In this post, I’ll look at what is different – now nearly 600 institutions of higher learning included! – and interesting tidbits we have seen in this year’s data.
