PayScale Vying to Represent Seattle in National Social Media Competition

Topics: Current Events

PayScale has been duking it out in the American City Business Journals' Social Madness competition, and there are only a few more days of voting before they tally everything up and announce the winners for the Seattle round on July 17. There are a few different ways you can vote for PayScale — vote for us on the Social Madness site under "medium companies"; like us on Facebook; follow us on Twitter; or follow us on LinkedIn. You can do any or all of these. We'd sure appreciate the support.

There will be three local Seattle winners — one for each bracket (small, medium and large companies). PayScale is in the medium company bracket. Those winners will go on to compete in a national competition against companies from other cities. The national winner for each bracket, which will be announced Sept. 11, will be awarded $10,000 to donate to a charity of their choice.

We’d love the opportunity to represent Seattle and secure $10,000 for a charity. We’d also love your suggestions on which charity we should choose. We may even set up an official nomination and voting process so you can tell us where that $10,000 should go. Before we can give away the money, though, we need to win.
