Seattle – March 13, 2018 – PayScale, Inc., the world’s leading provider of precise, on-demand compensation data and software, announces a new Hero Awards program, featuring employers who get high marks from their workforce on key employee engagement metrics. This first list highlights organizations where at least 80 percent of their employees agree or strongly agree with this statement: “I am extremely satisfied working for my employer.” Overall, PayScale examined 276,067 employee profiles from 62,501 distinct employers. These profiles were collected between November 2015 and November 2017.
“We believe it is important to recognize organizations where employees believe the right things are being done to ensure they are empowered and motivated to do their best work,” commented PayScale CEO Mike Metzger. “Consumers, citizens, partners and investors should feel good about aligning themselves with the organizations being recognized today, endorsed directly by their employees.”
Future Hero Award winners will be recognized for their efforts around other aspects of their organizational culture and business practices that positively impact employee engagement and retention and prompt their employees to rate them highly on those measures.
The list of organizations with the most satisfied employees includes small businesses up to Fortune 500 companies and spans industries from health care to tech to manufacturing. The organizations are headquartered in 41 different U.S. states plus the District of Columbia.
