Jimmy Berg Jimmy Berg started his career in arts and entertainment in the early '90s as a performer who also handled talent management, event coordination and marketing. He graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in English and worked for a variety of organizations in the arts space. He established and contributed to the company blogs of Seattle-based music licensing startup Audiosocket and the not-just-for-profit ticketing company Brown Paper Tickets. He was also a regular contributor to the New York-based cabaret and burlesque blog Burlesque Beat. In 2016 he made the transition into software sales as an Account Development Representative for PayScale. After eight months he was promoted to the role of Account Executive in Large sales and hasn’t looked back. He, his 7-year-old son Desmond and his wife Renae live in South Seattle. He’s also still making music, fronting two bands that gig semi-regularly around the Pacific Northwest. He just released his debut solo single in 2018 and is excited to now be contributing to PayScale’s company blog.
