Thousands of Canadian HR professionals descended on the frozen city of Toronto for the 2014 HRPA annual conference. The throngs flocked the educational sessions, viewed the keynote talks, and took advantage of the networking opportunities.
Toronto was cold but our booth was hot. Our heads were spinning from welcoming hundreds of visitors to our booth wanting to learn more about our data-driven compensation solutions. Many of the visitors told us they have used the free compensation report offered on our website.
No tradeshow is complete without vendors handing out stock piles of swag and offering great prizes. At the PayScale booth we gave away free purple squirrel t-shirts and had a drawing for $250 gift card.
We are pleased to announce that the winner of the drawing was Ingrid Wilson, Vice President, Human Resources at Echelon General Insurance Company, Mississauga, Canada.
Overall we had a lot of fun at the HRPA conference, meeting new faces, visiting with customers, and enjoying the moment.
