Dr. Bridget Terry Long, Ph.D. is an economist who specializes in the study of education, focusing on postsecondary student access and college and labor market outcomes. Her work focuses on the effects of financial aid policy, the impact of postsecondary remediation, and roles of information and assistance in encouraging college savings and enrollment. Long received her Ph.D. and M.A. from the Harvard University Department of Economics and her A.B. from Princeton University. She is a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and former Chair of the National Board of Education Sciences (NBES).
