Introducing Use Your Power Hour: An Action-Oriented Discussion for Allies at PayScale HQ

Topics: Work Culture

Are you a person who supports ending the gender wage gap, but don’t know what to do about it? We’ve got an easy first step, and it all starts with having a drink at PayScale headquarters in Seattle on April 10th at 4pm.

We’re calling on all allies from every network to attend this unique event happening on Equal Pay Day, a day devoted to thinking about how to close the gender pay gap. This event is for any human who feels like they may have some power and influence within their organization, or the labor market at large.

We want to think about ways in which you can use your power to pave an easier path for workers in underrepresented groups who might be struggling to gain equal representation in leadership roles, and other high-paying occupations like STEM.

Do You Know What You're Worth?

How Will You #UseYourPower?

Everyone has power and influence. If you’re ready to discuss ways in which you can use your power to effect positive change for women, people of color and other underrepresented groups in the workforce, we hope you’ll attend the very first of what we hope will be a series of events in the upcoming year focused on taking action.
