The 10 Companies With the Most Flexible Jobs

Topics: Data & Research

Eighty percent of U.S. companies offer flexible work arrangements, according to jobs site FlexJobs. Options range from full-time, work-from-home jobs to temporary gigs. But some companies offer more flexible job opportunities than others. To highlight these employers, FlexJobs recently offered a roundup of the 250 companies that listed the most flexible jobs in their database between October 1, 2013, and October 1, 2016.

To make the list, companies had to offer professional-level jobs that offered some flexibility, e.g. work on a freelance basis, telecommuting on a full- or part-time basis, or a flexible schedule.

FlexJobs notes that some industries had higher concentrations of these work arrangements than others — healthcare, HR, IT, and education topped the list — but flexible job listings appear to be on the rise.

“Professional, viable flexible jobs are now available across a wide variety of industries and at all career-levels, which is due both to companies hearing their employees’ demands for work flexibility, as well as employers themselves recognizing the many benefits,” said Sara Sutton Fell, Founder and CEO of FlexJobs, in a statement.
