Scientific studies have revealed that tea really might relieve stress. In one study, 75 men were placed into two different groups. One group was given actual tea, and the other was given a “fake tea” that tasted the same but contained no actual tea properties. After six weeks, both groups were intentionally subjected to a stressful situation. Fifty minutes after the exercise, the “real tea group” experienced a 47 percent drop in cortisol (a stress hormone) whereas the other group’s levels had fallen by just 27 percent. Who wouldn’t want some help recovering from stressors quickly?

“Although it does not appear to reduce the actual levels of stress we experience, tea does seem to have a greater effect in bringing stress hormone levels back to normal,” Professor Andrew Steptoe of the University College London told The Telegraph. “This has important health implications, because slow recovery following acute stress has been associated with a greater risk of chronic illnesses such as coronary heart disease.”

2. It could be a bonding opportunity for you and your co-workers.

The office can be a stressful and chaotic place, and making a nice pot of tea is anything but. If you and a colleague need to have a chat about a particularly stressful issue, try putting on some tea in preparation. It certainly won’t hurt the tone and energy of your conversation.

Similarly, if you start to be recognized as the office tea-provider, it could be good for your reputation. Tea has a cozy, nurturing feel for a lot of people. If you’re the one providing the opportunity for the good stuff, it could help others bond and connect with you in a really positive way. Just put on some tea once in a while, and ask others if they’d like a cup. It’s a simple and easy way to build positive bonds with your colleagues.

3. Tea might be good for your health.

Studies have shown that tea and coffee drinkers appear to be at lower risk for both diabetes and heart disease; tea might even help prevent neurological diseases like Alzheimer’s. It’s also been shown to improve endurance levels, and it contains antioxidants that could help protect your body from a host of problems. Of course, drinking tea isn’t the only thing you need to do to stay healthy, but it isn’t a bad place to start.

this is a wounder full tips for tea liker because now a days we are have a lot of junk food. so many off they not taking a cup of tea in day. so this would be a better tip to improve they are health and mind refreshment.
