If you’re like many of us, you find yourself on social media when you’re having motivational challenges. Some amount of social media monitoring is part of a lot of jobs, so it’s easy to fool yourself into thinking that you’re actually producing while you’re scrolling through your feeds. You’re just monitoring the brand/keeping up with industry news/making sure no one is saying anything evil about your company’s products, right? Er, maybe.
