You’ve probably heard the saying, “Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.” Well, there is actually some scientific truth to that, according to Truity Psychometrics‘s infographic (embedded below). Truity is an online service that pairs the 16 different personality types, based on the popular Myers-Briggs personality assessment, and matches each type with best-suited career options. If you’re not familiar with what the letters in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) formula represent, here’s a quick cheat sheet:

Do You Know What You're Worth?

The Attitudes or Orientations

E = Extraversion

I = Introversion

J = Judging

P = Perceiving

The Mental Functions

S = Sensing

N = Intuition

T = Thinking

F = Feeling

Once you find your MBTI (you can do a free, abridged version of the test, here), you will be able to find the careers that compliment your given personality type. For instance, if you fall under the Feeling (F) category, your skills lie in occupations that allow you to help others and improve the lives of others. If your dream is to become a high-level executive or physician, then hopefully you’re an objective extrovert who is analytical by nature and can function in high-stress environments. To learn more interesting facts about introverts versus extroverts in the career world, read here.

Take a look at the infographic below to see what careers are perfect matches for your personality.
