Want to root for the home team and net a solid paycheck after graduation? These schools prove that jocks and the spectators who love them can earn an impressive salary. This year’s College Salary Report picks the winners.

Early Career Salary: $80,700

Mid-Career Salary: $130,000

High Meaning: 59 percent

STEM Degrees: 54 percent

2. Colgate University

Early Career Salary: $54,000

Mid-Career Salary: $126,600

High Meaning: 53 percent

STEM Degrees: 15 percent

3. Stanford University

Early Career Salary: $62,900

Mid-Career Salary: $126,400

High Meaning: 62 percent

STEM Degrees: 28 percent

4. United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point

Early Career Salary: $75,100

Mid-Career Salary: $123,900

High Meaning: 57 percent

STEM Degrees: 39 percent

5. Rice University

Early Career Salary: $60,000

Mid-Career Salary: $119,900

High Meaning: 53 percent

STEM Degrees: 42 percent

More interested in famous rivalries? Some of the biggest in college sports made the cut. Duke‘s Blue Devils trounce the University of North Carolina‘s Tar Heels with an early career median salary of $59,500 (compared to UNC’s $46,100) and a mid-career median salary of $108,000 (compared to UNC’s $80,400). Meanwhile, Aggies will be delighted to see that Texas A&M grads’ early career median salary of $54,300 beats the Longhorns’ $52,200, while their mid-career median salary of $97,700 tops University of Texas‘ $96,100.
