ABC Newswire reports that “The Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes (CSAH), a 501(c)(3) organization, was created to help disabled veterans from Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as their families, gain access to the resources they need to rebuild their lives.” Their most current effort is Bet on a Vet, which is aimed at business owners who are looking for employees.
Veterans learn valuable skills while in service, both at home and overseas, including personal discipline, respect for the goals of the group, persistence, determination, and the value of teamwork. These skills may be easily transferred to the private workplace, making veterans extremely valuable employees.
