What’s the best part about being in college? No, not homecoming weekend, although that’s a close runner-up. No, one of the best things about going to school is that many businesses offer student discounts.

PopSugar recently published a list of 36 awesome discounts available only to college students. Here are a few of our favorite deals for students:
1. Clothes
Whether you’re a classic Ann Taylor type or a trendy Topshop fan, your student ID card can get you amazing deals on clothing. Discounts range from 10 to 20 percent, and most don’t require you to buy a special loyalty card.
2. Tech
Whether you’re a Mac addict or a PC person, you can find bargains on both hardware and software. Most cellphone providers will cut you a deal, too, although you often have to go to a special subpage on their websites to find out if your school qualifies. (PopSugar helpfully lists those pages here.)
3. Fun
Everything from movies to museums to opera is available at a reduced rate for students. Just remember to have your student ID card with you at all times and check before you go to see if the event of your choice offers deals for students.
Of course, if you’re really looking to make bank, you can always look at our list of college majors that will pay you back, long after your student ID card is expired.
