How Men and Women Use Social Media Differently [infographic]

Topics:

Could you have imagined that there’s a difference between men and women and the way they use social media? Well, there is. Men and women continue to have differences in most areas of life and social media isn’t any different, according to this InternetServiceProviders.org infographic.

If you just saw a ‘share’ on Facebook, it most likely came from a woman. However, if you just wasted away an hour of your time on YouTube, then you’re most likely a man.

Where the big deciding factor is, though, is in the overall percentage of women that are on social sites such as Twitter and Pinterest. The number is an astounding 71 percent. When it comes to men, only 62 percent of them are on the Web.

Check out the infographic below for more revelations on social media among men and women.
