Why Employers Ask Unusual Interview Questions [infographic]


Do you think of yourself as being intelligent? If so, there are some highly successful companies that want to hire you. You’ll have to make it through the twists and turns of strange interview questions, though.

Have no fear, the has uncovered some of the unusual things you might be asked when interviewing in today’s job market.

When applying for a job at Amazon, for example, you might be asked something like this: “Jeff Bezos walks into your office and says you can have a million dollars to launch your best entrepreneurial idea. What is it?” The breakdown of this question is simple. They want to know whether or not you have an ability to plan.

You don’t have to be Einstein to get a potential employer’s attention. If you have deductive reasoning skills, you’re already a step ahead. In fact, 71 percent of employers admitted that emotional intelligence is more important to them than IQ.
