The Work From Home Disadvantage [infographic]

Topics:

Working from home might seem like a great idea at first and yes, there are some great advantages to it. However, where does one draw the line between the sanctuary of home and the obligations of work if they intermingle? Is it even possible for the two to peacefully coexist in the same space? This InternetProvider.org infographic examines the issue.

When you work from home, there can be a lot of obstacles that get in your way. For one, it can be difficult to concentrate on work issues if your washing machine or dishwasher is busy doing its thing in the background. There’s also the all-too-familiar possibility of dealing with bad Internet connectivity issues. Not all of us can afford the type of high-level Internet service that a corporation can afford.

The issues associated with working from home are not specific to any one country, though. This is one way in which our issues are definitely universal. Whether you are from the U.K., U.S., France, Germany, India, Belgium or Brazil, the main interference in getting work done from the confines of where we live is undisputed — it’s our children or family demanding attention.

Check out the infographic below for more revelations on the disadvantages of working from home.
