In ancient PayScale times, we decided that we would host our blogs on Typepad. We blogged there for many years. And it was good. Well, it wasn’t terrible. But as time progressed, we felt stifled by the limitations of having our beautiful blog hosted on another server. That feeling, along with others, drove us into the arms of Sitefinity, a content management system (CMS) that we can run from our own servers and build new features on.
The basic integration with Sitefinity went out a couple of releases ago, but you probably never noticed. That’s okay, we were trying to stay incognito. But with our latest release, Yesler Terrace, we moved all of our blogs to the new platform. And it was good.
We used to have several individual blogs: “Salary Reporter,” “Ask Dr. Salary,” “Salary Stories,” “PSDev”. We’ve condensed all of those blogs down to to just this one blog that will henceforth be known as “Career News.” It should provide you with everything you’ll need to know about advancing your career.
