Where you live can also have a big impact on the salary you’ll make. In a tech-heavy area such as Seattle, for example, you’re likely to make around $78,620. That’s more than New York, where the average salary is $72,720 and there are an estimated 32,180 employees who have marketing degrees under their belt.
