Topics:

Most people spend their 20s discovering themselves and planting the seed for a future career. The 10 entrepreneurs featured in this Masters in Marketing Degree Guide infographic went a different way and it paid off in spades.

Among the 10 biggest entrepreneurs under 30 is Daniel Ek. In 2006, at just 29 years old, Ek founded his company Spotify and is expected to make about $840 million in last year’s revenue. Spotify employs around 500 people and has 10 million active users who can access 15 million songs on their desktops.

Also at just 29 years old, Ben Silbermann founded the highly popular website Pinterest. Although the company’s revenue is not publically disclosed, the site is valued at $1.5 billion. The fact that they are the third largest source of referral traffic on the Web has a lot to do with that.
