3 (More) Signs It’s Time to Quit Your Job

2. You don't want your boss's job.

3. You can't get better.

If you're consistently underperforming, says Babson College President Leonard Schlesinger, you might be "up against an impossible task." The issue might not even be with you — sometimes people fail at jobs because of office politics, a lack of resources, or under-appreciation from their managers and peers. But whatever the reason, if you can't succeed where you are, it might be time to make a jump.
