Maggiano's wanted to gain the hefty number of followers that its competitor Panera had, so its team thought of an excellent idea. The chain held contests to encourage customer participation. The result has put them at a follower increase percentage of +3,467.
Applebee's was the most talked about restaurant, generating the most buzz among users. Meanwhile, Panera seems to really have its content marketing strategy down. Pinterest users are most likely to repin what Panera posts, giving the brand the upper hand when it comes to engaging customers.
