LinkedIn endorsements, the social networking site’s newest feature, enable users to express their support of colleagues’ skills in just a few clicks. Can this feature streamline the online vetting process?
Potentially. While traditional LinkedIn recommendations take a few minutes to prepare, an endorsement takes just seconds. This means users can pile up endorsements in a way they never could with formal recommendations. And when LinkedIn begins accounting for endorsements in its search results, the feature can dramatically affect how leads, managers and potential business partners find you.
Have you used the new LinkedIn endorsements? If so, do you find yourself vouching your connections’ skills more vocally now than before?
