It's always nice to get a compliment. And, PayScale received a great big one the other day when an employee nominated us for "Best Employer" in the annual "The Best of Western Washington" contest hosted by King 5 television's "Evening Magazine" show. We're blushing. We're honored. And, we're still receiving more votes. Would you help us stay in the top twenty?

Best of Voting

King 5's contest includes everything from "Best Food Truck" to "Best Wedding Planner." Out of over 220 employers nominated for "Best Employer," we are currently ranked number 15.

Fun facts about PayScale:

– We have a ping pong table in the office. Some employees even have their own paddles that they keep in special cases.

– Our CEO is very enthisiastic, like the time he made us all hold noisemakers and "make some noise" whenever something positive was said at our company meeting.

– We're located near the two biggest sports stadiums in Seattle and employees often run downstairs to buy kettle corn on game days – in bags that are about four feet long.

We'll finish with quotes from PayScale employees and friends who have voted:

"This is a great place to work with smart and considerate management to lead us. The people are genuine and the location is amazing. I've been here 4 months already and I love it!" – Matthew D.

"I love my job, I love my boss, and I love my co-workers. We also work in a great space in a cool part of town. What more could I say? Best job ever!" – Melissa Q.

"PayScale blends hard work and efficiency with a fun, family-feel culture. Everyone chips in. Everyone cares. And, we work in a really cool space." – Bridget Q.

Voting ends on Sunday, October, 9. Vote today!
