PayScale Brand Asset Use Guidelines

PayScale has developed a number of brand assets to help the community distinguish PayScale from other businesses and easily recognize PayScale references.

These brand assets include PayScale’s trademarks, logos, service marks, domain names, icons and imagery and are the protected intellectual property of PayScale.

If you would like to use any of PayScale’s brand assets, please follow these guidelines:

  • Always maintain the shape and proportion of PayScale’s brand assets and reproduce them at a legible size.
  • Do not modify PayScale’s brand assets, such as by changing the design or color.
  • Refrain from asserting rights over PayScale’s brand, including registering the PayScale name or asserting rights to “pay” or “scale” in a way that is confusingly similar to or dilutive of PayScale.
  • Avoid using trademarks, names, domain names, logos or other content that imitates or could be confused with PayScale.
  • At no point combine any part of PayScale’s brand assets with your name, other marks, or generic terms.
  • Make sure that the PayScale brand assets are not the most distinctive or prominent feature of what you’re creating.
  • Never use PayScale’s brand assets on materials associated with pornography or illegal activities.

If you’re discussing or describing PayScale, please also:

  • Display the PayScale name in the same font size and style as the rest of the content.
  • Capitalize both the P and the S in PayScale.

PayScale does not permit or license its brand assets for use on merchandise or other products. Additionally, PayScale reserves the right to revoke permission to use PayScale’s brand assets at any time.
